Dear SJA families & friends,
Our gala’s “tricky tray” is our largest and most important fundraiser of the year. The monies raised help bridge the budgetary gaps that allow our school to continue to offer a high quality education. Many volunteers worked tirelessly throughout the year and over the summer to make this event a success. We explored many options to hold this event while still maintaining social distance and increased safety measures. Unfortunately, there are too many obstacles to successfully hold the gala this Fall. As a result, we have decided to postpone the gala from October 7, 2020 until the Spring 2021. The date is yet to be determined.
Your current ticket is still valid for the Spring 2021 date. We are still holding out hope that we will be able to have a traditional gala in the Spring. We look forward to coming together as a community and celebrating SJA as soon as it is safe to do so. We have also researched alternative models and are prepared to offer a non-traditional gala to the extent that we continue to be limited in what we can safely implement. Please note that this will be the PTG’s only fundraiser for the 2020/2021 school year.
Thank you for your continued patience and support of SJA during these difficult and uncertain times. We are so grateful for our school community. We understand that some may not be able to attend the Spring 2021 date. As soon as a date is set, we will then offer the following options:
- Convert your ticket to a fully tax deductible donation.
- Transfer your ticket to someone who can attend.
- Request a refund for your admission.
