Protecting God’s Children is training conducted by a certified facilitator on the prevention of child sexual abuse. In accordance with the Archdiocese of Newark, St. John’s Academy requires all employees and volunteers to attend a Protecting God’s Children Workshop and stay current with recertifications.
Workshop Registration
You may attend a workshop at any Parish offering the program.
To create a User ID and register for a workshop:
- Go to VirtusOnline and click on “First-Time Registrant.
- Click on “Begin the Registration Process”
- Select “Newark, NJ (Archdiocese)”
- Create a User ID and Password for your account
- Complete information in requested fields - Please select “St John Academy (Hilsdale)” as your Primary Location
- Schedule a session
Upon completion, send a copy of your certificate to the attention of Carol Fuhrman in the school’s main office.
