My name is Allie Sandt and I am an alumni of Saint John’s Academy’s class of 2016. I attended SJA for nine years and after graduating I went to high school at Immaculate Heart Academy.
If there is one word I could use to describe my high school experience, it would be busy! I worked really hard to become an Eagle Ambassador, a member of the National Honor Society, and the co-president of my in-school mass choir “Praise”, International Thespian Society, and Orchestra.
Without Saint John’s, I would not have had the same confidence and drive I needed to take on leadership roles in high school. I have become even closer to many of the friends I made in grade school and have begun to realize the bond that SJA creates among all of its alumni.
Outside of school, I play bass in a band with some friends and have been working on my original music. I found my place on the stage while at SJA and now I am excited to attend SUNY Oneonta this fall to study the music industry where I can continue doing what I love most.
