NJHS Membership Requirements
Students may be inducted into the NJHS at the beginning of their 7th or 8th grade year. In order to be considered for membership, students must meet the below criteria. If qualified, students will receive an application packet by mail.
- Maintain an overall average of 95 or better in their 6th or 7th grade year (prior to the induction in September)
- Responsible - no unsatisfactory grades or Improvement Needed on their report card
- Must be involved in service to their community, church, school and family
- Perform a minimum of 5 hours of community service each trimester while part of the NJHS
Homework Help by NJHS
Beginning on Monday, October 21, 2019 NJHS students will be sponsoring a homework hour. Members will be on hand to help students in grades k – 5 with homework and/or studying. Hours are 2:15 to 3:00.
