At St. John’s Academy our learning spaces and passionate teachers challenge students to voice their ideas and to stretch their ways of thinking so that the natural curiosity continues in secondary school and becomes a habit for life.

We achieve this through a rich Catholic environment that is infused in all we do, ensuring that our students’ spiritual development goes beyond a simple classroom teaching and becomes a pillar of their spiritual character into adulthood.
We embrace academic excellence with a rigorous and multidisciplinary curriculum.
With a low student-to-teacher ratio and a specialized curriculum targeted specifically toward 4 separate grade levels, our individualized focus allows students to excel in many ways and stages of their learning.
At St. John’s Academy, students learn social responsibility and leadership through service to others.
Our students on average perform over 3,000 volunteer hours per year in service to others, teaching them to understand the value of “giving back”.

Thank you to our Student Council members who did a wonderful job today spreading Christmas cheer as they went Christmas caroling from classroom to classroom. They raised over $1000 for the Hillsdale Food Pantry thanks to the generosity of our school families.

As the parent of 3 SJA alumni - I must say SJA was the best experience of my kids youth. They loved it and received a wonderful academic and religious foundation along with a beautiful community of friends and family. Love seeing the pictures and reminiscing of our happy days at SJA!🎄
Our Kindergarten - Eighth Grade Christmas Concert was such a joyful and faith-filled event. The children did an amazing job! Thank you to Ms. Allie Sandt, our music teacher for such a beautiful evening!
Each year, at our Christmas Concert, the William Mundhenk Character Recognition Award is presented to one of our eighth grade students. The award was established by Larry Mundhenk and his wife, the late Viola Mundhenk, in memory of their son William who was a graduate of St. John’s Academy.
