Art Smart Program
|
|
The Art Smart program has been a SJA tradition for many years.
|
|
The program highlights a different artist each month. Parent volunteers* go into the classroom to share information on a (predetermined) artist by sharing a quick video or images then work on an art project based on/inspired by that artist. All projects are age appropriate and a lot of fun for the kids. At the end of the school year, artwork will be displayed at the SJA Art Exhibit.

The SJA Marketing Committee is looking for a few talented & dedicated individuals within our community to share their knowledge, skills, and creativity in helping us spread the wonderful message of St. John’s Academy.

Our primary needs are in the area of video production, copywriting and design — though we are open to all those with a creative/marketing background.

The Santa Shoppe is Coming to SJA!

|
Christmas is coming and we are so excited to bring back the in-school Santa Shoppe!
Your child will have the chance to shop for high-quality, inexpensive gifts for family and friends in a safe, supervised setting. The Santa Shoppe will be staffed by parent volunteers* so please click on the below Signup button to get involved. More information about the Santa Shoppe will be coming soon.

Westwood Home for the Holidays Parade

This magical event is a long standing local favorite. Join us to walk alongside this year's

SJA Whoville "True Meaning of Christmas" float.

Saturday, December 4th @ 5pm
Come dressed in character or bundled up in your coziest winter clothes!
All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Dad Squad
|
|
The SJA Dad Squad is a group of fathers of current and former SJA students that host monthly social events outside of school and contribute collectively to the SJA community through volunteering and fundraising drives. Uniform Exchange
|
|
The Uniform Exchange is a great way to share gently used uniforms that your child/ren have outgrown. All pieces are inspected and cataloged. Parents may reach out to Birgit Loncar anytime to donate items or inquire about available inventory.
|
|
It is not necessary to have an exchange in order to use the program.
|
|
|

Is Your Family or Company Interested in
Sponsoring the Red & White Gala?
|
|
SJA's Red & White Gala is a tremendously popular event that draws over 500 people far and wide for a night of great fun, food, and prizes. This year's event will add a Casino Night alongside the traditional Tricky Tray! Continued support from our families and local businesses through sponsorships and donations is essential in making this event a huge success.
|
|
There are a number of ways to donate a prize to the Gala. You can purchase a gift from our wishlist, work with our personal Gala shopper, or email Caroline Wright for any other donations you may have.
